Dr Peter Davis, Consultant Paediatric Intensivist and Chair of Scientific Committee
Dr Peter Davis is trained in paediatrics and paediatric intensive care in the UK, Canada and Australia. He was appointed as a consultant in Bristol in 2003. His subsequent roles include Chair of Paediatric Intensive Care Audit Network (PICANet) Clinical Advisory Group, Chair of the Clinical Reference Group / Specialty Advisor on Paediatric Critical Care for NHS England during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Chair of the British Paediatric Surveillance Unit (BPSU) Scientific Committee.
Peter is also a member of the South West Clinical Senate, and represents RCPCH at the UK Rare Disease Forum and the NHS England Rare Disease Advisory Group.
He remains active in research, particularly epidemiology, and continues to direct and instruct resuscitation and trauma courses, including being a member of the Advanced Paediatric Life Support Working Group.
