About this workshop

Play is fundamental to children and young people’s health, wellbeing, and experience of care. The Play Well toolkit published by NHS England has been developed to support teams to integrate play more intentionally across settings. This workshop will share learning from implementation sites and offer Paediatric professionals practical strategies to apply within their own services.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:

  • Be able to articulate the evidence and rationale for embedding play within Paediatric care.
  • Have heard case studies demonstrating implementation and impact.
  • Have explored and proposed practical steps for introducing the Play Well toolkit within their own settings.
  • Have made a personal or team commitment to action.

Speakers

  • Natalie Aris - Head of Professional Training and Development, Starlight
