About this workshop

We will provide a brief overview of the ChildLine counselling model, how it can be adapted to support young people regardless of their situation and the five different tailored approaches that we use to provide emotional support to young people.

We will also touch upon our safeguarding policies, including our relatively unique confidentiality policy and situations that may require us to work with external agencies either with or without the young person's consent. It will include a mixture of presentation, case study discussion and a reflective practice activity.
