Neighbourhood health for children: Getting started and doing it well and training paediatricians for the future
Neighbourhood Health for Children is a core part of the NHS 10 Year Plan, with many areas already working more closely with Primary Care and within Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs). But what does this mean in practice for children, their families, and the professionals who support them?
This interactive workshop will explore how paediatricians can collaborate across services, work effectively within INTs, and use neighbourhood approaches to improve outcomes for children and populations. We’ll look at what “good” looks like, how to get involved locally, and how to work across sectors and with partner agencies.
Come along to demystify neighbourhood health, learn practical tips you can use straight away, and share experiences with colleagues from across the country. This session is for everyone – all paediatricians will be working in this way in the coming years
