Sponsored symposium: Prolonged release chewable tablets: Why Formulation Matters in ADHD (Neuraxpharm)

Time slot
Monday 11 May 2026 - 13:05-13:35
Room
Pharmaceutical Theatre - Exhibition Hall
Session type
Mini-theatre session

Join this practical and interactive session for an insightful discussion on the first UK prolonged‑release chewable formulation, and its role in paediatric and adolescent ADHD management. Chaired by Dr Maite Ferrin, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, the session will explore real‑world considerations when introducing a novel formulation, including adherence challenges, patient and family preferences, and everyday clinical decision‑making.

The session will review formulation technologies and how prolonged‑release delivery may offer benefits beyond chewability alone. This will be followed by an interactive Q&A with Dr Michael Feld, who will share international clinical perspectives alongside direct, hands‑on experience from routine clinical practice using different ADHD formulations.
