RCPCH Historical Archives

RCPCH Historical Archives preserve and enable access to records of our history as the British Paediatric Association (BPA), founded in 1928, and as the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health since 1996, as well as the history of child health more widely.

Our archive includes 5,000 records and may be of interest to those researching the history of medicine, health and social policy, and medical education. We welcome donations of material from members, individuals, and organisations with an involvement in child health.

Our historical archives are managed by the Information Governance team, which is responsible for overseeing information management at the College including compliance with data protection legislation and other information legislation, as well as records management.
